Royal Dutch Shell, one of the largest organizations in the world, established an ongoing group of heretics…and prospered from their suggestions. That did not mean that the path was easy. Heresy is an arrogant servant; it assumes that there is a truth beyond our ken that exists whether we wish to notice it or not. The struggle to notice it, and use it wisely, is the subject of this story.
